Cora is 11 Months!

Alright, I'm officially sad!  I can't believe we only have one (1) more month of taking Cora's monthly sign pictures.  How is my baby girl growing up SO fast??  These pictures are always a struggle, as Cora is getting feistier by the day.  Her personality has developed so much this past month, it's almost ridiculous!  Cora is very much her own person, and I'm starting to think we may have another strong-willed child on our hands ;)

Here is what Cora is up to this month:

-Sleeping approximately 13 hours a night and taking two (2) good naps a day

-Out-eating Sonoma at just about every meal, and keep in mind, Sonoma is an excellent eater

-Down to just two (2) bottles a day, and I plan on cutting one (1) of them out soon

-Still taking her pacifier

-Still NO sign of a tooth - can you believe it?!  That doesn't stop her from eating just about everything - meats included

-Signing a lot and communicating to us through baby signs frequently throughout the day.  Her new favorite sign is "bird."  She saw so many birds on the beach and was constantly doing the bird sign on vacation.  She also does it when she hears birds sing.  Also signing:  dog, milk, more, all done, mama, dada, waving hi and bye, hungry, kisses, and hugs.  Cora is also always brushing her hair and putting a phone to her ear to say "hi."  If she sees any of our brushes near by, she snatches them and brushes her hair.  Same with phones - she grabs them and puts them to her ear. 

-Just started pointing to things that she wants

-If I ask her if her diaper is stinky she waves her hand by her nose.

-Can point out her nose, head, hair, mouth, tongue, and feet

-Still obsessed with Coffee her pink mouse 

-Knows the animal sounds for cow and dog - she "woofs" for a dog and says "booo" for a cow.  She still cannot say her "M's"  

-Can say:  dada, dog, dixie, book and cheese

-Standing and cruising on anything she can pull up on  

-crawling faster than lightning and getting into EVERYTHING.  I'm at a loss for playroom organization.  Sonoma has SO MANY LITTLE PIECES and I'm frantically chasing Cora around grabbing stuff out of her hands/mouth

-Cora loves to dance and does the same dance anytime she hears music.  She especially goes crazy when she hears "The Hot Dog" Dance

-She loves to read.  She has favorite books, and she also has books she no longer enjoys.  If you start reading a book she hates, she starts screaming and crying, and will instantly stop if you pick up one of her current favorite books.  She always cries at the end of the night when book time is over though.

-Cora loves to throw things for fun, and will sometimes hit me or head butt me because she thinks it is hilarious.  I can't believe she already has a little attitude ;)

-She still has some stranger danger and cries when someone new is close to her.

Will still fall asleep in the car if she misses her morning nap due to one of Sonoma's activities

We love this girl so much!  She and Sonoma are starting to have a lot more fun together.  We are also in the middle of planning her 1st birthday party - lots of excitement in the air!
