6 Days Until Christmas.....WHAT?!?!

There's just not a minute to spare!  Every free minute has been spent baking, wrapping, shopping and doing something festive.  I LOVE this season, and I promised myself I would be super organized early on so I could sit back the last couple of weeks and ENJOY all of those little moments.  Well....it was working for a while, and then I got sick.  I got sick with a nasty virus that cleared up for the weekend and then it came back again Sunday night.  High fever, chills, body aches - the sickest I have been in a long time.  Thank GOD I tested negative for Influenza A, as I know so many of my friends have come down with it and I feel terrible for them.  I had x-rays which showed no pnemonia (again, thank you, God!) but it did show I bruised my ribs and pulled tendons around my ribs from coughing so much and that is why my chest was so incredibly sore.  Being a Mom and being sick right before Christmas is pretty much terrible, but now I am back at it trying to play catch up and keep everyone else healthy!  A big shout-out and thank you to Marcus who helped out as much as he could without jeopardizing his work and important meetings.  

We had to go visit the beautiful Christmas display at the Charlestowne Mall and I took Sonoma birthday shopping for a friend.

We have watched so many wonderful Christmas movies!  I am so glad ABC Family has had so many great ones on this month.

It felt great to get dressed up a couple of weekends ago and attend our annual Neighborhood Holiday Progressive Dinner.  Such a fun event and I love switching houses for all the different courses.  Really fun and really festive!
