Sonoma and Cora had their very first piano recital a few weeks ago. Last year we inherited this vintage piano which was a gift to my Grandmother from her Father. He was a musician and this green piano has a lot of cool history. My Great- Grandfather and Hoagy Carmichael ran in the same circle and Hoagy has even played this piano! I wish more than anything that my Dad could have been there to watch their recital and see all of their hard work over the last 9 months. The pic on the left is of my Dad on the same piano when he was a little boy. It sure has been special to have the girls play this piano.
