December + New JOB

As I attempt to catch up on the family blog, I realize that I never mentioned my new JOB! I started coaching cheerleading at Westfield High School!   I coach both JV and Varsity and I am the Assistant Coach.  Coaching was something I have always wanted to get back into, but was waiting for the right opportunity.  A chance to coach at the High School in the community in which we live seemed perfect to me!  One of the coaches approached me and asked if I would be interested. So, here I am, adding Coach to my many titles and proud as can be.  I started in October when we had tryouts for the basketball season.  I coach practice every week as well as the JV and Varsity Boys home and away Basketball games and the Girls Varsity home games.

So, in addition to coaching and attending a lot of basketball games, December was filled with parties, events, programs, and all things Christmas!

Saw Frozen 2 and loved every minute of it.  7 years ago we were taking Sonoma to see the first Frozen and from then on, our lives have been filled with all things Anna & Elsa

Pizza our Elf came back and his leg was all healed!!  The girls ( especially B this year! ) had a blast looking for him every morning.  He's like a member of our family

Cora's Christmas program at school.  She totally rocked it and was the best little dancer and singer up there
( IMO :) )

B had her school Christmas program and looked so darn adorable with her four best friends

Repeal Day Party downtown!!  It was such an amazing event in the  City Market Catacombs!! Did you know there are tunnels all underneath the city?  So creepy but cool.

Sonoma's troop won the Downtown Westfield Lighting Gingerbread House Competition!!  They built a replica of the O'Conner House in Carmel and chose to donate all money from the contest to help the women there.  It was amazing

Cora's Brownie Troops' sweet Gingerbread house!

Downtown Westfield Lighting

Baking with Mimi!

Breakfast and Cookies with Santa at Broadmoor!

B loved our snow day together!

Fun at the school Christmas parties!

Annual Christmas Sleepover.  B wouldn't go to bed so we had to move her to her room! Not surprising!

They all exchanged presents. And, Daddy also gave them beautiful, special Sisters necklaces and said he hopes they always remember that they are best friends.

Sonoma had her 2nd meet of the season in Cincinnati.  She WON floor and bars!!  Highest scores ever on those two events.  Her foot was hurting and she didn't do well on vault or beam.  However, her floor and bars scores were enough to get her 3rd place all around!

Stay tuned for my post on our Christmas in Chicago and Christmas Day! :)
