1 month in Quarantine

1 month of quarantine.  We found out that the girls will not be going back to school this year.  We knew it was coming, but once we heard the official news, it was like a punch in the gut.  Sonoma cried all night.  She and Cora will never again walk the halls of a school together or ride the bus together again until Sonoma is a junior in High School.  So many missed moments that will be robbed.

We have had 2 weeks of Spring Break and no E-learning, so we have had to get creative with our days.  We have had a few warm days of beautiful weather and we try to get out and go on runs, walks, bike rides/scooters every day.  The sunshine definitely helps.  The girls have also been writing letters to friends, teaches and family members every day.

Sonoma had an Easter themed gymnastics zoom practice

Thank you to Grandma and T for sending ingredients to make Easter cupcakes!

We filled and hid Easter eggs in our yard

It was so sad and sweet - Blakesley and her neighbor Micah have been playing on each side of the fence.  We noticed yesterday they each brought out their Elmo dolls and were playing with them together.

Got my splits back over quarantine!

One day Cora and Blakesley set up a hair salon for all of their stuffed animals

Blakesley practicing her dance via Zoom

We have had some beautiful days outside!

Blakesley working on one of her preschool assignments!

The girls made rainbow spring crafts one day and then wanted to leave them on a walking path for anyone to take. Cora wrote a note that said it won't take away the coronavirus, but it may make someone smile :)

B has been sending mail back and forth one of her best friends, Landyn
