Normal. . .

Things are finally back to normal around here. Well, about as normal as things can be with a toddler and a newborn, ha! I've been venturing out more with the girls and conquering grocery and Target runs as well as I possibly can. It's a lot harder to pile things in the cart with Sonoma in the front and Cora in the back, but we have made it work. I try to do most of my shopping errands on the days Sonoma has PDO. Cora is a breeze to run errands with, as long as I try to time them with her feedings. It's Sonoma who makes every errand about ten times harder than it needs to be. We are still battling some major, terrible two, epic meltdowns and tantrums, but it HAS to get better soon, right?? I read somewhere that at two and a half you can see a big difference. Sonoma will be two and a half in a couple weeks, so, we will see about that. . .

We had so much fun at the farm last week for pizza night. It was a perfect fall evening and they had an awesome band that Sonoma really enjoyed dancing to. It was a lot different than our last time going together as a family during the summer when it was 100 degrees out!

We went for our first big family run the other night and it was amazing - Cora and Sonoma were both in wonderful moods and there was no crying and no stopping. We did a trail run through the neighborhood, 35 minutes running, 15 minutes cooling down.

Daddy has been feeding Cora one bottle at night, usually before bedtime a few days a week.  It's been working out really well and it might be a new part of Cora's night-time routine.

Playdate at Henry's house!  So much fun with Sonoma's old PDO crew!

What is it with kids splashing in puddles?

My sweet little princess.  She's always so happy.

One of Sonoma's better moments this week

Cora will be TWO months old tomorrow.  How is that already possible?!?!?

  1. I feel your pain on the meltdowns...Owen still has 4 months till he's two, but he's already started. Makes you not want to go anywhere when you have a scream fest getting back in the carseat:( I'm trying not to think about going through this for another year, can't imagine doing it with a newborn in tow! Stay strong mama!
