I've been so busy with birthday party planning for Cora, that I haven't been updating the blog lately. This past week has been a "get organized" week, as we arrived home last weekend from our week long trip to Indiana. We started the trip off with a stop in Westfield, IN, to visit some of our dearest and best friends, the Ertels. Words can't describe how special this family is to us! We had a blast staying at their new home and making fun, summer memories. We kicked off the weekend by going on a boat ride with some of their friends. It the girls' first ever boat ride and they had such a great time!
Sonoma had her first ever sleepover with Riley! She stayed in his room, and we were worried about how they would do, but they did GREAT! They both were so exhausted from a packed day, that they both fell right asleep. So much fun!

After a day out on the lake, we went back to the Ertels' house and cooked out, made s'mores and stayed up way too late :)
The next day we took the kids swimming!
Marcus had to leave Indy and head back home to work, but my parents picked up me and the girls and took us back to Bloomington for the week. Pa took Sonoma to the fair one day, we went swimming, ate at some of my favorite restaurants, went out for ice cream, and enjoyed playing outside.

The girls were also able to spend a day and a night with Grandma and T. Sonoma had fun making s'mores at the campfire, having one of T's famous milkshakes and spending some quality time with two more of her favorite people. It was really good to be back home again in Indiana.
