We had a great visit to Bloomington, Indiana last week! Mom decided to drive up on Tuesday and take me and the girls and Dixie down, so we wouldn't have to drive by ourselves. It was SO nice of her and we had a fun little road trip. Marcus met us in Indiana after work late on Friday night, so we were happy to be able to all travel back home together on Sunday.
The reason for my visit was to host my business launch event back home! I had it at Nick's on Saturday and it was a great success! Had a good turn-out and a great time.
I also had a really nice visit with my Grandparents. Sonoma worked for a week on making a cat picture to give to Great-Grandma. She loved it.

We had the opportunity to do so many other fun things during this visit: I had lunch one day with my really good friend, Lindsey, and met one of my best and oldest friends, Scott, for coffee one day. Marcus and I both met Scott and his fiance on Saturday night and had a real fun time together. I took the girls to visit my Dad's office, and the girls also spent some good time with Krista and Jake for a couple hours while they were in town. The weather was GORGEOUS and we spent the majority of the time playing outside! Marcus took the girls to our close friend's David's son's birthday party on Saturday. He said it was a lot of work but Sonoma said they had SO much fun. My Dad worked hard to make some updates on our old swingset so it was all ready for the girls to play. Sonoma & Cora took their first slide ride together. Sonoma learned how to throw a football & believe it or not, she got in a couple of good spirals! We celebrated T's 65th birthday over the weekend and had a cake, a special lunch, and even a fun campfire with s'mores one night.
