The Longest Month Ever

I've never been a big fan of January, other than a fresh start, and the thought of what all could happen in a New Year!  After a few days, that feeling wears off, and usually I am just cold and wishing I was on vacation somewhere warm!!  This January, especially, has been extra long and a tough month in general.  However, the end is near -- just 4 more days until February!  Almost there. . . .

In the meantime, here are some pictures from the last few weeks:

Shopkins OBSESSED!

My Aunt had this picture of my Dad, Great Grandma, Aunt and Grandma in my Great-Grandma, Bapoo's dining room.  On the shelf in the right corner, I noticed my glass bowl that I use for a fruit stand in my kitchen! My Grandma gave it to me, but I did not know it was also my Great-Grandma's.  It's one of my most favorite, special items and this picture made me love it even more!

Cora's handwriting is getting so good!!!!

Cora loves doing puzzles!

I tucked Cora in one night and there were two stuffed animals in her room.  Later on when I went in to check on the girls before I went to bed, this is what her room and bed looked like!

Marcus will kill me for posting it, but I had to.  Sonoma showed me on her iPad the other day that Daddy sent her a selfie.  If you know Marcus, then you know he has never taken a selfie and HATES selfies!!  The fact he sent this to Sonoma was really sweet :)

Painting at 8:00 in the morning

We LOVE playing Barbies!

Sonoma went to a birthday party one day so that meant Cora, Daddy and I had a fun day out together.  Pizza & ice cream!

We watched the workers at Graham's Chocolates make chocolates for almost an hour!  Good entertainment!

Sonoma got her hair, nails and makeup done at the birthday party!  She had a blast!

Sonoma brought this home for MLK day and I thought it was so sweet.

Getting texts from Sonoma is one of my new favorite things!

A little Twister action

Mimi came to visit last week and Sonoma was hard at work on her snowflakes

Cora and I went shopping with Mimi!

<3

Cora has the absolute greatest imagination right now.  She plays pretend and make believe and makes up scenarios all day long.  Even her teachers commented on how incredible her imagination is right now.  That's why it is so fun to play dress up, Barbies, and Shopkins with her.  She is hilarious!!!

Beautiful flowers from Marcus

We took the girls to Benihana for the first first time and had the best dinner out!  The girls LOVED the constant entertainment and tricks of the hibachi and they ate the most we have seen them eat in a long time.  We can't wait to go back!

Ready for Church

Sorting Mommy's buttons from my sewing kit

Cora and I had a special day out yesterday just the two of us all afternoon

Lunch, ice cream, shopping and carousel at the mall

Napping on the way home

Pajama day at PDO

I got together with a bunch of my local Rodan + Fields team last night as we listened to one of our company's 5 MILLION dollar earners speak!  It was incredible and I love much fast my team is growing!  These women are the main reason I love my job so much!  Very inspiring!
