Life Lately

The girls are getting used to their new Spring schedules with new activities and just 6 weeks left of school!!  How is school almost out???

Sonoma immediately came home from Spring Break and dressed all of her American Girls in sweaters that Grandma knitted for her.  They each have one now.

We spent Sunday cleaning out the guest room closet and armoire, in preparation for our big room switch! The girls came across my wedding dress.  Sonoma wants to wear it :)

Marcus ran with both of the girls when it was super warm last Sunday

Cora has moved all of her baby doll stuff into the tent and wanted Dixie to play with her

Sonoma started an after school Art Class through her school and LOVED the first day.  She can't wait to go back each week!  Cora decided she wanted to do homework of her own, so I picked up some letter books for her from the Dollar Store.  She is super serious about perfecting her alphabet:

Sonoma went on her very first field trip Friday.  It was at the Morton Arboretum.  Unfortunately it was snowing and raining all. day. long.

While Sonoma was at her Field Trip, Cora started her very first music class.  She is so excited for this new activity.

My Mom friends kept texting me pics of Sonoma.  I really wanted to be there, but the volunteer spots filled up so quickly, I didn't make the cut.  It's very competitive to volunteer in Kindergarten!

My parents have been in Florida on a trip and Cora has been playing "Florida" and "swimming pool."  Too bad it was 30 out and snowing!

Despite the horrible weather, the kids had fun!

23 weeks!  All dressed up and ready to go out to our last show for our Broadway series season.  Marcus and I did not care for West Side Story, but we had a great dinner with friends.

Sonoma ran in our room this morning and her tooth was SO read to fall out.  I just decided to pull it out!

So, our babysitter apparently does nail art!!  The girls were in heaven!

Early morning kisses and cuddles for the baby.  Cora talks to the baby and signs to the baby every day.  She tells her everything that happens :)

The weather is awfully cold again today, so we are focusing on some indoor projects and praying for nicer weather next weekend........
