Spring Break 2016

Spring Break started Easter weekend and went through the first week of April.  The Monday after Easter I drove the girls to Indiana to meet Marcus' parents so they could spend their Spring Break in Bloomington with Grandma and T.

We stopped at Fair Oaks for lunch, to look at the Fish and then the girls + Dixie left with Grandma and T to head back to Bloomington, Indiana.

I came home on Monday afternoon to an extremely empty, scary quiet house.  I immediately cleaned the girls rooms, the play room and started getting caught up on scrapbooks, pictures and a few other projects.

By Tuesday afternoon I literally had nothing to do and couldn't quite stand all the quiet, so I headed into the city to meet up with Marcus for all the of McDonald's All American events.

Marcus went to the Gala on Tuesday night and I was quite happy hanging out in the hotel eating Shake Shack, working and watching TV.

 Wednesday was so much fun.  I met my friend Erin for lunch, had a blow-out, and walked around the city.  I later met up with Marcus to head to the United Center for the games.

I met tons of great people at the games, including Antoine Walker.

Meanwhile we Marcus and I were downtown, the girls spent the day at my parents' on Tuesday:

They got out all of Krista's American Girl furniture and dolls.  The girls had a BLAST!!!

I came home from the city on Thursday to see that my daffodils bloomed!  Marcus and I re-packed our bags and drove to Bloomington Thursday night through horrible storms.  It was one of our worst drives ever.

We made it safe and sound and Marcus' brother, David and his whole family had just arrived from Atlanta for us all to spend the weekend together!!

These three girls were inseparable!!! 

On Friday we went to Jumpin' Joeys!

We taught the girls how to play air hockey and Sonoma beat me!

Marcus pretended to be a kid for the day and this video makes us all laugh so hard!!  When Marcus came out of this slide, he actually split open his shorts and completely shredded them!!!  HAHAHA!

Had the BEST pizza at Noble Romans after!

We took the girls over to visit Great Grandpa and he played them songs on the piano.

Hello, baby!

Everyone had such a fun time getting together at Grandma and T's house.  I hope we can plan something fun again soon for all the cousins!

On Saturday we celebrated all of the April birthdays:  T, Carrie, Adair and Sonoma

Our friends Jamie and Eric came over to visit.  Jamie, Carrie and I are all pregnant and due within three days of one another!!

5 months pregnant!

So fun being pregnant the exact same time as my sister-in-law!
