I'm surprised I even had time tonight to sit down and update the blog, but I have been working at all hours of the night to organize pictures and videos. I finished Sonoma's birthday movie this weekend, and I figured while I was on a computer organization roll, I better do a quick blog update. Life is always crazy busy with kids, but this week in particular has been one total whirlwind.
First, I wanted to add a quick update from my
Easter post I did last Sunday. I wrote a little bit about my Dad and how I was thinking of him non stop on Easter. Right after I published my blog and we were on our way to Easter lunch, we came across this huge snapping turtle on the sidewalk of the road:
Anyone who knows my Dad knows how special turtles are to him. And to me. My Dad grew up raising box turtles, and so did I. It's been at least a couple of years since I have seen a turtle out in the wild, and to come across one this big on Easter Sunday....well....I know it was a sign from my Dad. I took the picture and the first person I wanted to text it to was of course my Dad. I instead texted it to my Mom and Sister, and then emailed it to my Grandpa. I couldn't believe how prehistoric it looked, like a dinosaur!
Anyways, after Easter Sunday, our week was filled with non stop meetings, emails and appointments all regarding our move and house. You see, since I last updated y'all about our
big move to Indianapolis, we went under contract with our house! We didn't even officially list it, had barely signed the paperwork with our Realtor, when she informed us we were having a showing! Whaat?! My house wasn't even "show " ready. After a crazy quick showing, we immediately received a verbal offer, which turned into a written offer, then next thing you know we are signing paperwork, meeting with a real estate attorney, having the official inspection, the radon test, and setting up the appraisal. This has all happened so fast, I couldn't even process it.

| We will be saying goodbye to our Verona Ridge Drive home faster than I expected |
Although I won't officially pop the champagne until everything is 100% finalized, I am so relieved to not have to do 50 more showings like I had to do the 1st time. That was hard enough getting the house show ready and getting 3 kids out of the house at an inconvenient time. I strongly believe everything happens for a reason and that my Dad absolutely has a hand in the way that all of this is going. I just know he is up there working his magic, trying to help us make this go as smoothly as possible.
Cora Brighton makes my days so much better and brighter. She always wakes up with a smile and is such a joy to be around in the middle of this chaotic time.

| Cora and Claire wore matching swimsuits to swim lessons last week |
 |
| And the Easter Bunny brought the girls matching spring pajamas to match their dolls. |
Marcus started his new job this week and was busy with all of his on board training. I held down the fort at home and also started house hunting like crazy via online. On Thursday, my Mom and Sister met our Realtor in Indianapolis and saw four homes and walked me through them via FaceTime! I am so grateful they were able to be there and start the process of house hunting for us.
I'm really proud of Marcus and his fantastic new opportunity with Anheuser-Busch!

| Sonoma had Crazy Hair Day at school |
 |
| Cora and Blakesley had a tea party together |
 |
| The girls busted out their bug catcher vacuums. They are the coolest thing that Mimi and Pa gave them for Christmas. They can suck up bugs through different attachments, then view them in a magnifying glass and then release them. |
 |
| Marcus went on a trip to Lexington this weekend with his Brother. They hadn't done a Brothers trip in quite some time, and they decided to head down to Keeneland for a weekend away. |
 |
| Marcus visited his old stomping grounds at UK and even found his old house he lived in! |
The girls and I were at home all weekend and luckily the weather was gorgeous.
 |
| I took Cora to her Mom's Day event at Preschool. |
 |
| We planted flowers |
 |
| Decorated cookies |
 |
| Played games, put on tattoos, took pictures, and had a seriously FUN time. Cora was on cloud 9 and we had a blast together! |
 |
| It was a beautiful Spring Saturday! |
 |
| On our run and bike ride, my tire blew out on my Double Bob! 4.5 years with this thing and never has this happened! Luckily, I have a super strong 6 year old who helped me repair it to get everyone home safely! Never a dull moment with this crew! |
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to go through the home selling and buying process. We are taking things one day at a time and hoping for the best!
