Life Lately (Catching Up!)

I started this "life lately" blog post over 2 weeks ago. My blog and picture organizing has taken the back burner. We are still taking things day by day over here.  Marcus is gone during the week in Indy, which makes for some long days and nights for both of us.  We're doing the best we can to get by.

Blakesley always has her foot up at meal time.  It is so cute and funny!  

Sonoma and I saw a double rainbow a few weeks ago after gymnastics practice.  Then a week later we saw another rainbow the exact same time of night!  This was a quick car pic I snapped.

Cora, B and I had a fun day shopping at Oakbrook a few weeks ago.

When I was gone in Indy seeing our new house and Marcus took the big girls to their babysitter's graduation party.Thanks for doing their braids, Daddy!  Good job!

Mimi met me at our new house ( I FINALLY got to see the house we bought! )  and she watched Blakesley so I could focus on the house.  Afterwards we went out to lunch at Clay Terrace ( right by our new house ).

OMGOSH!  How did this happen?  Sonoma is FINISHED with 1st grade.

Sonoma and Regan.  Poor Sonoma....as soon as she got into my car after I picked her up from the last day of school, she burst into tears and started bawling.  She said how much she was going to miss her friends and school, especially Regan.  It was absolutely heartbreaking.

We went out to a special lunch after the last day of school with 2 of Sonoma's good friends, Ella and Alexa.  Ella gave Sonoma and Alexa beautiful bouquets of flowers.  

Gosh, I am going to miss these girls!

Over Memorial Weekend we went to Blackberry Farm for one last time and Erin, Peter, Violet and new baby Victor met us there!  It was a blast!

My Dad loved this covered bridge at the farm.  We always take a picture by it.

Our families had a fun lunch outside at Hardware.

On Memorial Day we took the girls to the downtown Geneva parade and met up with the Potereks.  After the parade we all played at a park.

I've loved raising babies with Christin!  I am going to miss her so much!

We went out with Don & Bridget one night and snuck in one last double date together,  Another great family we will dearly miss.

I LOVE newborns.

I will miss these beautiful flowers so much.  My Mom and Dad gave me these Iris from their house.  They just bloomed a few weeks ago.
