First Weekend in March

Finally...a new month!  We gladly welcomed March this past week and we were excited to have a weekend with absolutely no plans or house projects.  I took Sonoma to the DuPage Children's Museum on Friday for a toddler class with two of her friends, Ella and Tori.  The girls all had a blast playing with musical instruments and making shakers, and then we walked the museum afterwards and let them play together.  We are so happy we now have the membership to the museum.  Marcus took Sonoma there a few weeks ago and we are certain that we will put that membership to good use!
Bubbles!

On Saturday we woke up and went into the city to take Sonoma to the Shedd Aquarium for the first time.  I knew she would love it,  and it was so fun for us to watch Sonoma having such a great time.  She loved the octopus, seahorse babies, turtles, fish, dolphins and penguins.  They had a Polar Play Zone for Toddlers which we got tickets to and she had a fun time going down the slide over and over.  We had a great lunch overlooking Lake Michigan and the museum was a perfect trip for snowy Saturday morning.  (I forgot my camera so these pictures aren't the best quality since I just took them on my iPhone)

Baby #2 is doing great!  Fingers crossed that things continue to go well.  We told Sonoma that I was pregnant and going to have a baby.  She loves to rub my belly and when she does she talks about how the baby is going to cry and drink "ba bas" (aka bottles).  She has been practicing taking care of a baby with her own baby dolls and she is really sweet about the whole thing....so far ;)

15 Weeks
Sonoma enjoyed watching IU win against Purdue tonight!  GO HOOSIERS!
