And it's 94 degrees out! How am I going to survive a hot, Chicago summer being pregnant? This is all new to me since a.) I have never been pregnant during the summer and b.) I am ALWAYS cold. Sonoma and I tried to beat the heat today with popsicles, but that lasted about 30 seconds!
Sonoma and Dixie refused to be inside, so I sucked it up and spent the majority of the day outside with my girls while Daddy was away at a golf outing.

| Double stroller arrived this week! Sonoma was anxious to test it out. Perhaps we could let Dixie join her for a spin around the neighborhood? ;) |

Yesterday I hosted a bridal shower for Erin in the city at Bar Toma. I was a little nervous going into the weekend, considering I had her bridal shower booked at the Art Institute back at the beginning of January. Last week the Art Institute called me and said they would be closing down completely this weekend for the NATO summit. Plus, Michelle Obama was hosting a dinner today so they had to make sure everything was secure. Can't begin to tell you how upset I was. Thankfully Chef Tony Mantuano has another restaurant close by and they were able to switch my reservation there. It all actually worked out perfectly and everything went really well! I was so relieved and Erin looked so beautiful! The only bummer was that my parents were set to arrive yesterday morning to Chicago via the Megabus. The Megabus never showed up to Indy, and they were not able to make it in for the shower. I was sad, especially because I was supposed to spend the weekend downtown with them.
