Last Birthday in my 20s. . .

As much as I love my birthday, it IS a little depressing that today is my last birthday in my 20s.  I also thought I would be celebrating my birthday with a family of four, but as you already know, it's still just the THREE of us.  I'm glad I haven't spent the day in the hospital though, because it sure has been nice to spend some quality time at home with my loves.  I haven't felt the greatest today and keep thinking labor is coming quickly, but I managed to make the best of today.  I so appreciate all of the birthday calls, cards, texts and FB posts!  Thank you :)  I've already promised myself that I will do something totally fabulous next year to ring in my 30s - a trip away somewhere fun for sure!

Wanna know the BEST part of my day today???  Watch this video.  This was first thing this morning when I woke up and came downstairs.  I could watch this over and over:

Sonoma and I went on our 3 mile walk today and also walked up to the middle school since it was the 1st day back to school.  Sonoma has been wearing her backpack around all week and telling me she can't wait to go to school and ride the bus when she is older.  It's so cute.  She also tells me school is "her favorite."  She has lots of "favorites" right now.  While Sonoma was napping and Daddy was working from home today, I was able to get out for a bit this afternoon and relax at my favorite nail salon.  I told them they better hope they don't see me for quite a bit after I walked out of the door today!

Daddy brought home Chicago style pizza ( my FAVORITE ) and a yummy red velvet cake with whipped cream icing.  I was one happy girl :)
