Cora's 1st Trip to Bloomington, IN: Thanksgiving 2012

Last Wednesday we left for our first roadtrip as a family of FOUR!  Of course, Dixie was along with us, so that really makes FIVE!  We drove down to Bloomington, Indiana to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with my family at my parents' house. To say it was a long roadtrip is an understatement, but we all survived and at least we had wonderful driving weather.  It was really good to relax back home, and to bring Cora to Bloomington.  She also got to meet her Great-Grandparents and that was such a sweet time.

On Friday we carried on our tradition of going to the lighting downtown along with the Christmas with the Pops show at the theatre.  We had seats near the front so Sonoma could get up and dance to the Christmas music.  She was so brave and couldn't wait to show off her moves!  She liked Daddy to go with her though:

When Santa showed up at the Pops show, he came down the aisle and patted Sonoma on the head!  She is still talking about it!

Highlight of the night:  Sonoma waiting in an extremely long line to sit on Santa's lap.  I was SO proud of her for not being scared and getting up there to see Santa.  She later told us she asked for a pink pony. . . .

On Saturday morning Pa took Sonoma to the Holiday Mart downtown.  She got to see real, live reindeer!
