Weekend Away

Wow, what a busy week we have had!  Grandma and T arrived  last Thursday, and stayed with us until Sunday, so Marcus and I could attend Erin and Peter's wedding.  I was Erin's Matron-of-Honor, and was really honored to be a part of her special day.  The wedding was absolutely amazing; a real dream come true wedding.  I don't think we will ever attend another event quite like it!  They certainly went all out and I know that everyone had a wonderful time!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Stach!

Sonoma was SO excited to have a weekend with Grandma and T, and I think it was exactly what she needed!  Marcus and I have been so busy with work, the house and Cora, that Sonoma really enjoyed having a LOT of attention and one on one time from Grandma and T.

Family walk!

T had a good time bonding with Cora and even fed her some bottles!

All the girls!

Seeing this picture while we were away made me smile =)

It was really tough leaving Cora at such a young age, but she really did wonderful.  She even slept great for Grandma and T!  I was especially worried about her having all the bottles of my pumped breastmilk, since she usually only gets maybe one bottle a day from Marcus, but she honestly did really great.

We came home on Sunday, just in time to take Sonoma to her new session of swimming lessons.  She had a great time with Daddy, just like she always does.

Coming back on Sunday and trying to get back into the swing of everything with Daylight Savings Time was especially rough.  I was finally feeling back to normal on Wednesday, and Sonoma is finally starting to sleep in a little later each day, thank goodness.  However, everything changed yesterday when I came down with another bout of mastitis.  Thankfully I caught it early this time, and started an antibiotic first thing this morning.  I HATE being sick and I really just don't have the time to be sick!  I had so much I wanted to do today, but now I am home, resting, until I have to go pick up Sonoma in a couple hours at PDO.

Anyways, we were SO thankful that Grandma and T were such a tremendous help last weekend and were able to come up and spend some quality time with the girls.
