Yes, it is DEFINITELY *SUMMERTIME*

 

Finally - the hot, summer days we have been waiting for!  Daddy was out of town most of last week for work, so the girls and I had a great time together running and playing outside as much as we could.  We got out the baby pool and the water table for the first time for Cora and she LOVED the pool.  She was so happy just sitting still and splashing in the water, while eating her popsicle and frozen blueberries :)  It was a great day!

 

 

The famous fashion exhibit has finally made its way from Paris to New York and now to Chicago at the AIC.  We went into the city yesterday for a special Members' preview.  It was awesome and Sonoma enjoyed a lot of the dresses.  Not to mention, it was a perfect, hot, summer day in Chicago.

Slightly embarrassing being a tourist in our own city, but Sonoma loved it.

We let Sonoma run through Millenium Park, but Cora was a little happier sitting with Daddy in the shade

We had a really delicious brunch on top of the AIC at Terzo Piano and Sonoma loved the little sculptures that were all over the patio.

 

What a great weekend we had once Daddy was home!  We sure did miss him.  Cora is keeping me insanely busy as she is growing like a weed by the day!   She is starting to out eat Sonoma - it's hilarious! She is pretty much eating whatever we are, but still not a tooth in sight in that little mouth of hers. Cora waves hi and bye all the time now, says "aww," and can point to her nose, mouth, tongue, and hair.  Lots of little accomplishments daily :)
