Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving came and went this year faster than I could believe it!  We are already in full on Christmas mode, but here is a re-cap of our fantastic Thanksgiving holiday at my Parents' home in Bloomington, Indiana.

It doesn't matter how old you are, it always feels SO good to be home.  There's no place like it!

I just love my parents' fireplace.  I spent most of my holiday right here.

Sonoma enjoyed playing her ukulele that Pa gave her two years ago

Thanksgiving crafts & activities!

Sonoma enjoyed making all of the place cards for the table

So grateful for these three people :)

It was an excellent Thanksgiving meal with my parents, my sister and brother-in-law and my grandpa

The girls were so happy Auntie K and Uncle Jakey-poo were in town too!

We enjoyed a cold walk down the street post dinner

Opening their new ornaments from Mimi!

On Friday, we went to downtown Bloomington for our annual tradition of attending the lightning on the square.  Before the lighting we went to a Christmas show with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra.  It was wonderful music!

We sat second row and the girls got candy canes from Santa!

My parents planned such a fun memorable holiday weekend for all of us!

Cora was on Daddy's shoulders & Sonoma was on Uncle Jake's shoulders for the lighting
