Waterpark Fun!

 

We finally had the chance to check out two waterparks last week!  First up was Raging Waves. (largest in the state of Illinois!)  It was completely crowded and overwhelming!  Marcus and I would have loved to go down some of the huge waterslides, but the lines were really long.  The girls had a fun time in the kids area and we also all went down the lazy river together.  I honestly don't know how people with multiple children keep track of them at that place!  It was crazy!

We came home and grilled out and the girls went on a butterfly hunt.

After being completely exhausted from Raging Waves, you would be surprised to hear that we woke up the next morning to go to another water park!  This one was a million times better though!  It is tucked away in West Chicago in an old neighborhood.  A true gem!  It was Saturday and it wasn't even crowded. And the crowd was very nice too.  Our friends the Palmers invited us and I am so glad they took us here.  We can't wait to go back!  I highly recommend it!

See this big orange slide?  Sonoma went down it!  She was stoked to find out she could go down ALL of the slides at this waterpark (never the case!).  She finally begged me to go down it too and I did!  Scary!

We are feeling really happy we have been able to check "water park" off our Summer Bucket list!
