Thanksgiving 2015

We traveled back to Bloomington, Indiana for Thanksgiving this year and stayed with Marcus' parents.  It was a great, relaxing holiday, and we have so much to be thankful for!

The roadtrip was not our favorite part of the holiday, but we did survive.  The fuse blew in our minivan and the DVD players went out, so that was not the best way to start the trip.  As you can see in the picture above, Sonoma is clearly not thrilled, and Cora is holding a red crayon to her head that she proceeded to draw all over the door with.  (and her face).  Dixie was the only one who slept during the total 10 hours in the car. . . .

THANKSGIVING!!!  Sonoma wanted to surprise everyone and wear the Pilgrim costume she and I made at school during her Thanksgiving party.

Thank you, Grandma & T for a DELICIOUS Thanksgiving meal!

Thursday was our only nice day weather wise, so the girls spent all afternoon playing in the HUGE leaf piles!  In the evening we built a camp fire and made s'mores!

The flash was really bright!

Sarah made me wear Marcus' old track sweatshirt ;)

The girls enjoyed watching Wild Kratts Christmas special before bed

Picture from before dinner with a bottle of Mauritson wine.  We texted the picture to Clay Mauritson, our friend, and also the wine maker ;)

On Friday morning we went over to my Parents' house to spend time with them, Krista, Jake, Baby Scarlett and Great Grandpa.  We had a great visit and a nice lunch!

It was so sweet watching the girls with Scarlett.  Especially Cora - she was so in love!

4 generations!  This pic cracks me up - look at Cora!

Marcus and I did a date night in downtown Bloomington in the rain, after the lighting on the square.  It sure was pretty, even in the rain.

It wouldn't be a trip to Grandma & T's without T's famous milkshakes!

We had a fun lunch at Fair Oaks Farm on the way back home.

Happy, Happy Thanksgiving!  :)
