Life Lately

Life lately has been really great in March!  We've been blessed with some beautiful Spring weather here and there, and we are focused on all things Spring right now!

FREE Ice cream cone day at Dairy Queen!

I came home and found this on the couch one morning.  A little creepy, ha!

Sonoma is getting braver and braver on the high beam,  She is working on split jumps, pirouettes, handstands, and dismounts.

Smashburger Dinner

Cora is obsessed with all things mustard right now

I've had a crazy craving for Auntie Anne's pretzels lately, so Cora drove to the mall with me one day!

St. Patrick's Day. . .  Not something we usually celebrate, but because Sonoma learned all about the Leprechaun and building traps for it at school, she couldn't wait to see what the Leprechaun would bring for her!  *Sigh*.  I let the girls build a trap together.  It was pretty cute.  They found a box and dumped Lucky Charms inside with glitter glue in hopes of trapping him.  On the outside of the box it said "Free Lucky Charms and Napkins."

Sadly, they did not catch the Leprechaun.  He did however bring them gold and green coins.

Shopkins organization day!

Cora and I have been hooked to watching the live cameras on the D.C. Bald Eagles.  The 2nd baby was just born and it's been so fascinating to watch all day!

Sonoma brought home "Spring" pictures.  I had no idea that they took 2 school pics a year of the kids.

I celebrated a HUGE IU win last night against UK!!  It was a very tense night in our home! Sorry 'bout ya, Marcus.  Also, I should add that I am in 4th place in my bracket right now.  Fingers crossed I win!  It's a pretty big pay-out!

It wouldn't be Spring without a visit to the Easter Bunny.  The highlight of the trip was watching all the kids who were scared of the bunny screaming and crying.  We were all laughing so hard!

Cora cried the other day that she didn't have very many baby doll clothes. I took her to Toys R' Us and let her pick out one little baby doll outfit.  Come to find out, she didn't want the outfit for her actual dolls, but for COFFEE!  HA!  She was so excited to dress up her little lovie.

Reading an Easter book :)

Sonoma and I went to the city for an early morning long photo shoot and she rocked it!  Had a blast and did a really good job.  The photographer couldn't believe how well she listened and took directions.  Wish I could say the same goes for at home! :-/

Cora is officially a bag lady.  Every day she wakes up she is in her room dressed and ready to go with at least 4 bags, backpacks and purses packed up for the day!  From then on out, she goes on trips, boat rides, and adventures.  I LOVE watching her use her imagination!  She carries this stuff throughout the house all. day. long.
