Modeling

I wanted to take a moment and recognize how proud we are of Sonoma!  She has always exuded confidence, determination and passion in anything that she is interested in. Watching her grow in her little modeling career has been one of the coolest things for us to witness!  She absolutely LOVES it and even asked me this morning when she got up, "Mom, when is my next shoot?"  It's so cute.  Unfortunately, the industry is a very tough one.  It's been a struggle to get her to auditions while trying to find sitters for Cora.  Her latest shoot was with Sears and she will be out in the circulars in May!  Watching her on set with the fans blowing, music blaring, dancing, spinning, laughing and moving around without a care in the world, was truly delightful!  I would have given anything to capture those moments on my own camera or video, but that of course was not allowed.  I got to stand behind the computers and see the hundreds of shots as they came in and they were so beautiful!  I'm glad Sonoma has found something else she is so passionate about at such a young age.  Watching her grow up has been a joy and she always keeps us on her toes!  

After her shoot last week, I took her out for ice cream and we had a special afternoon together.  We didn't know what to expect with Sears, but when we walked into the studios, there was a HUGE makeup and hair area, and Sonoma said, "thank goodness they are doing my hair and makeup Mommy! I was worried!"  Ha!
