ot is the word of the day! It is 92 out, but a heat index of 113 with an excessive heat warning issued for our county. This reminds me of the Summer of 2012 when I was pregnant with Cora and it was also Chicago's record hot Summer.
The girls are each in Summer camp this week and it is working out perfectly. Cora has Animal Adventures camp every day and Sonoma has Summer Blast at our Church. Cora is enjoying learning all about different animals and hiking in the woods every morning. Sonoma has been learning about God and the Bible while also learning archery ( she is really good! ), volleyball, woodwork, and other fun activities. It seems like the perfect Summer camp.
I've been busy in the mornings running errands and working. On a side note, I just overhead Sonoma telling Cora, "Cora, I always thought that white milk comes from white cows, and that chocolate milk comes from brown cows. But, then I just learned that is NOT true! HAHA!

| Check out that tool box and bird feeder! I was SO impressed. She built them completely herself! |

Watching Sonoma at her practices never gets old. It's amazing to see how many times a practice she climbs this rope, mixed in with weights, dips, push-ups, sit-ups and all sorts of running and conditioning. I will admit though, I've gotten a little scared the past few practices, watching her fall on certain tricks. I know every sport can be dangerous, but it's especially scary when you watch your own child! She is so brave and confident and I am beyond proud of her for what she has accomplished this Summer.
*BABY UPDATE*
I went to the Doctor Tuesday, all ready to get labor moving since my Doctor was going to strip my membranes. She discovered that baby had moved and is laying sideways now. I have to decide by next week if I want an external version procedure done to try to move the baby, or if I want to schedule a C-Section. In the meantime, you will find me doing exercises to try to get baby to flip back head down on her own. And praying. Wish me luck, friends!
