Life Lately

Summer life lately is crazy busy with a whole lot of fun!  Here are some pictures from the end of June and the beginning of July!

We received Marcus' baptism pictures from the photographer.  Here are a few:

Cora went to Insect Safari camp at Red Oak Nature Center

Daddy took the girls to Chick-fil-A's special Daddy Daughter Date Night.  They sure did get treated like royalty there!

We woke up one day to find Cora in the paper for the upcoming weekend events! It was a picture of her from the Long Grove Strawberry Festival last year at the pie-eating contest!  It was so cute to see.  It came out the same day we went back to the Festival this year!

Riding rides with the Palmer boys at the Strawberry Fest!

Crafts!

The girls made flower crowns

More crafts!  Paint swirling!

Both girls competed in the pie eating contest this year.  Sonoma got 2nd place!  They both did great!

The girls had been begging to go to My Gym Parents Night Out, since they hadn't been in over 6 months.  We took them there one Saturday night and they had the best time while Marcus and I enjoyed a nice date night out in downtown Naperville.  When we picked the girls up that evening, we found them sharing their pillow, watching a movie together.

More pretty flowers are blooming!

One of our babysitters dropped off her balance beam for Sonoma to borrow!

Crib is done!

Play date with Charlotte!

One of my friends and business partners, Amanda, earned her FREE Lexus, courtesy of Doctors Rodan & Fields.  It has been the most exciting Summer so far, with my business!  I loved watching another friend of mine earn her free car!

Cora's been doing awesome with her swim lessons

The girls are obsessed with the caesar salad from Panera
The girls went to Chicken Camp together at Blackberry Farm.  It was the only camp I could find for a 3 and a 6 year old.  They had a blast!

9 months!  Woo hoo!!  Marcus and I had a quick date night last night and went to dinner at Bien Trucha.  I had been craving some really good Mexican.  We hired a part-time Nanny a few weeks ago to be with us this summer.  So far, so good.  It's been really great!

Making pizzas at Brady's birthday party!

Designing her very own super hero cape.  I thought it was sweet she wrote all of her family's names, even Dixie's on the cape.

Cora started Farm Camp today at Blackberry Farm! She had a wonderful time!

After Farm Camp, I took Cora over to Brady's birthday party so she could join in on the fun

Happy Friday!  Happy July!
