October is Coming to an End

Our favorite month is coming to an end, and it sure has been packed full!  Cora has enjoyed the leaves in the back yard and has loved making piles in front of the slide to slide into!  We have been blessed with beautiful Fall weather this year and have taken advantage by being outside as much as possible.

Cora, Blakesley and I went to a Matilda Jane Trunk Show at the Gurchiek's house.  Our girls always get along so well together

The Cubs are in the WORLD SERIES!  Even though Marcus and I are not die hard fans ( In my opinion, it's hard being a baseball fan being from Indiana!)  However, the excitement everywhere you go is so contagious!  Everyone is so happy and excited!  Go Cubs Go!

I caught the girls rolling in a big box out back yesterday. They love playing with boxes together.  These are the days I want to remember

Fun trip to downtown Naperville last Sunday

New Trolls shirts from Mimi!  The girls cannot wait to see the movie.  We already pre-ordered tickets!

My happy happy baby

Sonoma started sewing in Art class.

Moms Together started back up again for the year!  Cora was excited to go to Kids Together this year, since last year she was in PDO on Thursdays.  It was such a wonderful morning for all of us!

Cora shot her first video!  Stay tuned online via Learning Resources and Amazon

Poor Claire got sent off to the Bitty Baby Hospital last week.  Cora is crushed without her and cries almost every day that she misses her.  Please come back soon Claire

Marcus and I celebrated 11 years of marriage last Saturday!  It was also our first date since we had Blakesley.  Oh my goodness, we have been looking forward to a meal together alone for almost 3 months!  It was so nice and fun.  We went out in downtown Naperville and had a great time.

Family date day in Naperville

Cora started soccer!  She is very excited!

There is an eerie looking black cat that walks through our yard every afternoon.  Sonoma made a sign for me to post on Facebook  :)

October comes to an end tomorrow and what better way to end a month than with a holiday?!  The girls are super excited for trick or treating this year and have been counting down the days for over two weeks now!  And thank God the weather is actually looking nice this year!  I don't think we have had a Halloween that hasn't rained or snowed!  We sure are excited for tomorrow.  Stay tuned for updates and pictures of costumes!
