2 Months with Blakesley Ann

2 Months!  Goodness, how is this so?!  Blakesley Ann continues to be one sweet, happy baby.  Her personality is shining through and she is such a joy to be around!  Blakesley is very intent on watching what is going on around her, and she will always flash you a smile with bright eyes if you talk to her!

22.5 inches (56th %)

10 lbs 3.2 ounces (25th %)

*For reference: Sonoma was 10 lbs 12 oz and 22 inches long and Cora was 8 lbs 14 oz and 21.3 oz *

Kicking those feet!!

 Blakesley is still going to bed very early.  I usually nurse her for the last time in the evening around 6-6:30 and then she falls asleep around 7:30 usually.  We usually have to rock her in her little rock n play bassinet next to our bed, as well as give her the pacifier if it falls out.  She usually sleeps until around 2-3:00 AM on average.  She nurses, and sleeps again until 5:00ish, nurses and then does another long stretch until 8:00 or 9:00 if we don't have to go anywhere. However, last night she slept 7:30 PM-4:00 AM and then ate, and slept again until 7:00 AM!  That was a great night!  She is learning to be more portable and flexible and sleep on the go in her car seat since we are ALWAYS in the car.  At home she prefers to nap while nursing on me as well as sometimes she will nap in her swing but those are usually quick cat naps. She is nursing every 2 hours during the day, but I am fine with that since she is doing so well at night.
