Life Lately: October

Here is a glimpse into the past few weeks of October:

The past few weeks have been a bit chaotic ( I feel like I am always saying that! )  We couldn't have made it through without the help of our family!  My in-laws and my Mom have helped out SOO much with the girls.  Between my trip to Las Vegas, my weekend trip with my Book Club and Marcus' work trip to Mexico, we have been in and out of Indy a lot.

Here was a pic Mom sent me of Blakesley.  I love getting sweet pics of the girls when I am gone!  Warms my heart!

Matching Halloween PJs for pajama day at school

I went to the girls' school and had lunch with each of them one day.

And we got school pictures back:

Superhero day!  I think we have had three full weeks now of "spirit days" at school ( insert the eye roll )

My shopping buddy

Super excited to show off her new Halloween leo!

My neighbor sent me this paper last week of Cora!  The voting is taking place again for Miss Merry Christmas of Aurora and Cora's picture was in the paper!

Blakesley LOVES her wagon

Her arm is ALWAYS out of her shirt of PJs.  Every day. Twice a day.

Stephanie and I at her husband, Marc's concert downtown

Big bow Friday at gymnastics practice for Sonoma

T and Grandma took the girls to the train store Mr. Muffins in Noblesville to check out the trains

Marcus' view from his trip with the Colts to Cancun,

I hosted some of my book club from back in Chicago for a girls weekend in Indy.  At the last minute, 2 of the women had to cancel, so there was just 4 of us.  But, we had SO much fun!  We rented an air bnb in Fountain Square.  First, we had book club and lunch at my house.  Then, we checked in our house and spent the evening at restaurants and bars in Fountain Square.  It was a wonderful evening.  I am blessed to have such great friends who drove all the way here to see me!

Cancun.

She's so happy!

We kicked off Fall break by making Crazy Creature Cupcakes at the Ertel's house

Both arms out!

We went to the Monday Night Football event Marcus put together with Bud Light at Noble Roman's.

Homework and craft time!

Obsessed with Mad Libs!

Fall break family breakfast!

For the end of Fall Break, Sonoma went to Grandma and T's for a weekend away by herself, and I took the chance to have some special 1:1 time with Cora.
We saw the new My Little Pony movie!

Sonoma carved a pumpkin, baked Halloween goodies with Grandma, had a fish fry, and went to the IU Volleyball game!

Meanwhile, here was Blakesley at home one night

And, Cora and I got manicures together!

Daddy, Cora, Blakesley and I went on a run and Cora collected leaves for a school project.

I went to get my hair done and Marcus sent me this pic after B's nap.  NO shirt!

Steak N Shake fun!

October, you've been good to us!  Lots of fun-filled memories.
