It's hard to believe an entire half of a year has gone by since our little beauty was born. It's hard to put into words how much my love grows each and every day for this little girl. I am so proud of her and have tried extra hard to take in every special moment with her. The time seems to be going by faster the second time around, but since I am a more relaxed Mom having done it all before, I'm trying to really cherish those little moments that I know will go by in a blink of an eye.

Sonoma 6 months, Cora 6 months
We decided to celebrate Cora's 6 month birthday by putting her to sleep in her CRIB! I think she was excited to have so much room, because she instantly sprawled out!
We also let Cora try carrots for the first time! For the past few weeks, Cora has been eating rice cereal for both breakfast and dinner and seems to love it. We wanted to introduce a vegetable tonight, and carrots were Sonoma's first food. And to this day, carrots are still Sonoma's favorite vegetable.
Cora did really well! Didn't make too much of a mess.
I think the jury's still out on whether or not she likes them. We will try again tomorrow!
*Other 6 Month Notes*
-Cora FINALLY started taking a bottle from Marcus and now she will even take one from me! She gets one bottle a day, and then she nurses 3 times a day. She goes to sleep at 6:30 pm and sleeps until 6:30 or 7:00, with nursing once in the middle of the night. I'm really proud that we have made it 6 months and that we have such a great nursing relationship!
-Cora naps three times a day.
-Cora loves: baths, playing with and watching Sonoma, running with Mommy, listening to music, dancing, babbling, grabbing my face and hair, and putting anything into her mouth (especially her socks and her bibs. She won't ever keep a pair of socks on. You can always find them hanging out of her mouth).
-Cora has her 6 month doctor appointment ( and shots ) on Friday. Check back for her stats.
WE LOVE YOU, CORA BRIGHTON! I'm sad you are growing, but I look forward to seeing everything else you will accomplish in the next 6 months!
