We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. We sure did! We hosted my parents and sister for the weekend, and started some new traditions that I bet will be in place for years to come.

On Friday we colored Easter eggs, which Sonoma had a blast doing.
On Saturday morning, Auntie K, Marcus and I all ran in the Blackberry Farm Spring Gallop 5K.
We all placed in the top 100 ( out of 500 ), and Krista got 2nd in her age group, Marcus got 3rd in his age group, and I got 5th in mine.
When we got home after the race, Sonoma insisted on running her OWN race. She asked to wear my "tag," and Daddy took her on a mile run through the neighborhood.
After the race was over, we hid eggs during the girls' naps, and Sonoma was SO excited when she peeked out of her window during her nap and saw all the eggs. She started screaming, "Mommy, the Easter bunny came!!!"

We baked cake pops on Saturday night for Easter:
On Sunday morning, Sonoma couldn't wait to hunt for her Easter basket, as well as Cora's. The Easter bunny was very good to both of the girls.
After the girls opened their Easter baskets, we had a big brunch at home with my family.
Of course, I had to buy the girls matching Easter dresses!
