Happy 3rd Birthday, Sonoma Danielle!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Sonoma Danielle!  Where oh where has the time gone?  How has it been 3 years since you were born?

Last night when I was saying goodnight to Sonoma before bed, I told her I was sad she was growing up and that tomorrow she would no longer be my little 2 year old.  She said, "Mommy, after I grow up and get big I'm going to grow back down and be small again and get back in your belly."  It was SO cute and funny.  

Sonoma's funny stories are just one of the great parts of our days with Sonoma.  She has the biggest imagination and we have the most interesting conversations.  She doesn't miss a beat!  She notices EVERYTHING.
She's also:  loving, nurturing, thoughtful, an exceptional big sister, strong-willed, independent, energetic, confident, inquisitive, an excellent eater, has extremely good manners, been potty trained since last summer, and really just lives her life to the fullest! We are SO very proud of our little girl and all of her accomplishments and love watching her grow up.  She lights up our lives and warms our hearts each and every day.

Sonoma was so very lucky to have all of her favorite people come into town this weekend to celebrate her birthday:  Mimi, Pa, Grandma, T, Auntie K and Jake.  She was so delighted that everyone was around to have the best weekend with her.  She had a party at Oberweis Ice Cream, another small family party and pizza lunch at home, a dinner at the Turf Room, and she spent quality time outside and playing with all of her favorite people.  It truly was a special, special weekend.  Pictures to come from the weekend -- stay tuned :)
