Halloween snuck up on us so quickly this year! And just like that....it's over! We arrived home Sunday night from our anniversary trip ( post & pictures coming soon, I promise! ) and we were thrown right into complete Halloween chaos with the girls. Cora had three (3!) Halloween parties last week and Sonoma had a party and parade at school. My parents came into town for the weekend and we went trick or treating in the awful, rainy weather ( an annual tradition, ha! )

We carved pumpkins on Halloween, and just like last year, Cora hated the pumpkin guts and cried when she touched them.
Both of the girls had a blast designing their own pumpkins. They each drew their own faces - I was very impressed! And, Daddy made the best cinnamon sugar pumpkin seeds.
Just like last year, Halloween was really bad weather. It was actually way better than last year - not windy or as cold, but it rained all day. At 5:00 it let up and just drizzled for the rest of the evening, but that didn't stop the girls! We hit almost the entire neighborhood and loaded up on candy!
My parents came up for the weekend and we had a lot of fun! They were able to watch Sonoma in gymnastics on Friday night, we all went out to dinner, and then we celebrated Halloween together on Saturday. They handed out candy at our house, so Marcus and I could take the girls trick-or-treating

Cora was so sweet - throughout the entire night, she would compliment EVERYONE she saw in costume. Kids, adults, she would say, "I really like your costume!" It was really super sweet.
