Summer Days!

Summer is in full swing around here and I can't believe June is just about half way over.  I'm trying to soak up as many special memories with the girls before baby arrives!  We started tackling our Summer Bucket List!

Pedicures was our 1st bucket list item we checked off.  1st pedicure for Miss Cora.  She did great and loved the butterfly chairs.

100 piece puzzle!

Another great meal at Chick-fil-A.  This is the 2nd time we have left the restaurant with a CATERING size tray of nuggets to take home for FREE!!  The Manager said they thought I could use the nuggets for my family and wanted to help out.  SO sweet!!  We LOVE CFA!

Summer Junior Olympic Training.  This will be our first FULL week, since we were on vacation last week.

Park day!
We spent the day Friday at Blackberry Farm.  It wasn't too crowded since it was super hot out.

We had a fun picnic at the farm!

We were the only ones on the train ride! Had the whole train to ourselves!

Pony rides!

Sonoma is OBSESSED with her new Wonder Loom that Grandma bought her.  She has spent HOURS watching You Tube videos, trying to figure it out.  I can't believe her determination and how much she loves crafts!

1st time grilling our home made pizzas.  Yum!

We go through a LOT of guacamole around here.

Do you see how tall our day lilies are??  They are just about to bloom....

Cora has been waking up in tears, missing Dixie a lot lately.  She asked for a picture of Dixie for her room.  She wanted to pick it out, and said the picture of Dixie in her pink coat was her favorite.  Then, she asked me to take a picture of her by her stuffed dog and new picture.

Holy moly, how am I already 8 months pregnant??

We had neighbors over for our 1st camp fire of the season last night!  With lots of s'mores

Baby bluebirds in our blue bird house!!

HAPPY HAPPY 36th Birthday to Marcus!!!!

Checking off another bucket list item:  Riding Bikes to Starbucks!

I was really proud of Cora for keeping up.  I drove and met them at Starbucks and decide to take Cora home with me in the car.  There was a lot of traffic that really made me nervous.

Cold drinks on the patio!

Look what bloomed today, June 12th, on Marcus' Birthday!

We had a great time celebrating Marcus' birthday at home with an Oberweis Ice Cream cake.  Today was extra special for Marcus because he also got baptized at our church this morning. The girls were super excited to watch the whole experience and be on stage with him.  We are so proud of Daddy!
