Father's Day Weekend 2016

The girls and I kicked off the weekend with gymnastics practice for Sonoma, a birthday party for Cora, and an unplanned Doctor's appointment for myself.

Sonoma and I dropped off Cora at a birthday party and Sonoma said she wanted to eat at Jersey Mike's, Dairy Queen and shop at Hobby Lobby with her birthday money.

I forgot how much I loved the Butterscotch Dipped cone at DQ!

She came home with a new pet elephant.  She had a BLAST celebrating Sage's 4th birthday!

I had to drag both girls to Rush Copley to go in and get a non-stress test for the baby.  I've been having non-stop Braxton Hicks, but luckily everything is A-OK.  I have to start counting them to make sure I don't get up to 6 an hour.  The girls did get to hear the baby's heart beat which they had never heard before!

On Friday afternoon we got things prepared for my sister and her family to come visit, but then found out early on Saturday morning that they unfortunately couldn't come.  Poor little Scarlett came down with Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease and they had to keep her at home away from people for a few days.  I felt so bad for Krista and Jake - they were SO excited to come to Marcus' event, The Chicago Ale Fest.

So, on Saturday morning the girls and I shopped for food for Daddy's Father's Day meal and picked him up an extra special cookie cake!

 Chicago Ale Fest had a great turn out and perfect Summer weather!

Daddy made it home about 1:00 in the morning on Father's Day, so we let him sleep in a bit and then we played outside all day long!  The weather was gorgeous!

Baby girl is measuring ahead of schedule, but the Doc thinks it is because she is SUPER high.  Luckily, the Doctor could feel she is head down, but still way up near my ribs, which explains my shooting chest and rib pain right now!  34 weeks now!  Yippee!
