Termini Wedding in Chicago

Last weekend was Brian and Kelsey's Chicago wedding.  Marcus was a Groomsman and Sonoma was a Flower Girl.  Marcus and Sonoma were both extremely honored to be a part of their special day.  Brian and Kelsey have been dear friends of ours since we moved to the Chicago area.  The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and in the heart of Lincoln Park.  It was a LOT of work for me making sure Sonoma got to where she needed to be, as well as take care of and feed Blakesley, but it was worth it.  I'm glad it worked out that we could go and be a part of it.

I loved learning the history behind J Parker - John Parker was a pretty pivotal figure in Lincoln’s life, or at least the ending of it— he was a D.C. policeman, frequently reprimanded for drunkenness, who was assigned to Lincoln’s theater box that fatal night at Ford’s Theater. And he might have stopped John Wilkes Booth if he hadn’t ducked out partway through Our American Cousin to have a drink at a nearby tavern.

Sonoma got her first pair of Kate Spade earrings, a dog purse and a big lollipop!  She was SO excited.  Said it was the best day ever!  She loved staying up late and staying in a hotel with Mommy and Daddy.

Sonoma's Scholastic Book order came in when we picked her up from school on Friday so she had tons of reading material for the weekend.  I caught her staying up way after we put her to bed on Friday and she was reading a chapter book ;)  I love that she loves to read!

All ready for the big day!  

The wedding was early - 10:00 AM!!!  So we were up and at it getting ready before the sun rise!

Sonoma was SUCH a big help when I had to feed and change Blakelsey.  She helped by holding her and my diaper bag!  Love that she is so responsible and helpful
