Life Lately

Life lately has been chaotic and busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.  I could do without the snow we got last night and this morning, but nevertheless, Spring is near....hopefully!

Sonoma had her 2nd gymnastics meet and did very well.  She received 3rd place all around again and was on top of the world.  Her smile and confidence was absolutely contagious and she shined so bright!  Though we have seen her do better before, to her, it was the best day ever!  The fact that she can even get up in front of hundreds of people and remember routines and compete, just blows my mind away.  Once again, she was the youngest one competing.  There were no other Level 4 six year olds.

Cora went to Landon's birthday party with Daddy while Sonoma stayed home and relaxed after her meet.

Marcus and I had a fun date night out in downtown Aurora.  We ate at the famous Leland Tower on the river.  It is full of so much history - an excellent spot!

We saw Sweeney Todd at the Paramount Theatre and we both loved it.  Very gory, but also very good.

We are definitely in birthday season right now.  Sonoma attended Charlotte's birthday party at a tumble and cheer gym.  She had a blast!

Sonoma brings home the coolest pictures and artwork.  Here was her family portrait, complete with our 2 frogs ( next to me ), Dixie ( next to Marcus ), our snail that died ( on Marcus' head ) and both of our fish that died ( near me ).  So cute.

This sweet little 4 year old is all registered for Kindergarten!  WHAT???  I spent Thursday afternoon getting her all signed up and I really think I am in shock.  It's hard to believe she was only be 4 when she starts Kindergarten too!  She barely makes the deadline, but is so excited to go!

Cora LOVES her dance classes.  She is very excited about her big recital this Summer.  It's a VERY big deal! :)

Cora and Daddy had Daddy Daughter Day at her preschool.  They had a BALL.  (It was an adorable ball themed party )

Sonoma had her school carnival, the Fun Fair!

Ava & Sonoma

Daddy and Cora met up with us at the Fun Fair later after Daddy Daughter Day.  Here is Katie, Sonoma, Alexa and Cora
( neighborhood gals at the Fair! )

Mimi came to town and joined in on our crazy weekend! We were so happy to have in town for the school carnival and she also got to watch some of Sonoma's gymnastics practice.  Blakesley spent some quality 1:1 time with Mimi and even TOOK A BOTTLE from her!

On Saturday night we had a nice dinner out at the Turf Room!

As nice as you can get with a 7 month, 4 and 6 year old :-p

Blakesley had her first dinner out in a high chair and enjoyed the food at the Turf Room!
