Spring Has Sprung

Image result for Happy Spring

Although our flowers haven't yet bloomed ( not sure if the snow ruined them?!), it is officially Spring.  We are still battling cold weather (20s and 30s) but we are grateful when we see the sunshine and all the birds.

Blakesley loves her sisters.  Cora always makes her laugh since they spend so much time together.  And Blakesley also loves running errands and shopping with Mommy.

Off to Moms Together!  One of our favorite things to do.  Mommy gets a refreshing morning of guest speakers, time with friends and a hot breakfast.  And Blakesley gets to be held or rocked by someone else.

Branching out and trying new foods

I am so grateful for my business.  My power partner, Amy, and I having a business meeting at a new restaurant.

Daddy has been spending lots of time at the Brookfield Zoo.  Last week he went to the Dolphin Show.   The girls and I were jealous.  It's all for business though......

Sonoma and Cora made a leprechaun trap the night before St. Patrick's Day ( upper left corner ).  They were shocked to find out that the Leprechaun never paid me a visit when I was younger.  The next morning the leprechaun had eaten all of Cora's chocolate (oops!)  and went to the bathroom in our toilet!  He did the SAME thing at Sonoma's school classroom bathroom, and he also paid a visit to Cora's classroom too!  He was very naughty and played all sorts of tricks on all the kids!

Spring pictures!

My Cousin, Jason, just graduated from Officer Candidates School at Quantico for the USMC.  Absolutely amazing and we are SO proud of him!

The big girls and I saw Beauty and the Beast and LOVED it.  The girls came home and watched the original Beauty and the Beast the next day.  They couldn't wait to compare the two.  We agreed that we liked the new one better!

Sonoma was Student of the Week at her school this week.  She got to bring all sorts of stuff to put on display in the glass case at school:  Shopkins, Animals, her favorite book.  And then Marcus came into her classroom and read three of her favorite poems from "Where the Sidewalk Ends" to everyone.  He also brought in her gymnastics medals, American Girl Caroline and Wellie Wisher Camille.

Somone discovered her bookshelf!

Cora had her Spanish program at Preschool.  She has been practicing for MONTHS and did such an amazing job!

It was a joy to watch her perform!

We went out for a quick lunch after for some special time with Mommy & Daddy

7 months and proud of it!
