Mother's Day 2017

I am SO blessed!  I had a beautiful Mother's Day weekend with Marcus and my three girls.  The weather was absolutely perfect.  On Mother's Day the girls ran into my room in the morning with special presents they made at school.  I can't stop thinking about how much they mean to me!

From Sonoma:

Read this.  It is amazing:

She also gave me a beautiful marigold that she planted in a pot.

From Cora:

This yarn made me so emotional!
I wore this button all day.  Love it!

I went for a run by myself in the morning and then they took me out for a delicious brunch at Hardware.  It was SO good.  I spent the rest of the day outside with the girls and running some errands.  It was a great day.

On our walk we saw that they had started construction of our neighborhood park.  Marcus has been on our HOA board for years, seeing this project through.  It will be completed this Summer, which makes me both happy that it will be done but sad that we won't get to use the park we wanted for so long!

This is when I am happiest:  double stroller, all three girls in tow!

Check out the TINY baby painted turtle we came across on our walk!  Another sign from my Dad.  The last turtle we saw was on the last holiday, Easter.

Seeing this turtle on Mother's Day was a perfect end to my day.
