Back in the Swing of Things!

After getting home on Thursday evening from a wonderful summer trip to Bloomington, we spent the weekend getting back into the swing of things here at home.  We had an extremely productive weekend getting chores done around the house and in our extremely hot, dry, yard. Marcus also painted the study which was awesome to see afterwards!  He does such a great job painting and I really appreciate all of his hard work around our house.  He's almost finished painting all of the rooms that he is capable of doing by himself before we have to hire a painter.  I'm proud of him!

Even with our long to-do list, we managed to find some time to have fun with Miss Sonoma this weekend.  We took her to the Children's Museum and then went out to lunch together afterwards.

Saturday evening we attended Ella's 2nd Birthday party and Sonoma wore herself out!  I think Daddy wore himself out too :)

I heard Sonoma count to 20 today when we were out running errands!  I was really surprised, because I didn't even know that Sonoma knew any numbers over 10.  She usually skips a few numbers counting to 20, but still, I was proud of her.

It's hard to believe that I am 34 weeks pregnant this week.  I'm trying each day to get a few things done so I don't feel so overwhelmed come August.

Here is one of my new favorite pictures of Sonoma.  This was taken our last night in Bloomington during a cookout with our parents:
