Life Lately! {TGIF}

Haha, isn't that true?  Happy Friday though!  The week didn't go exactly as I planned it, but I am happy that it is now Friday and I'm ready to have a great weekend. We all had a snow day Monday so we didn't leave the house, and hadn't since Saturday (except to go to a neighbors' for the Super Bowl Party.) I got all of my laundry and cleaning done by Monday night, and on Tuesday I had big plans to work on Valentines crafts and play with the girls.  However, on Monday night I took a new prescription vitamin from my Podiatrist for some feet issues I have been dealing with.  Well, it made me SUPER sick, and I was down and out all day Tuesday, and back to running the girls around Wednesday, but still not feeling 100%.  By yesterday, I was fine, and will not be taking that new vitamin every again.  But all of a sudden it's Friday and I can't believe it!

Marcus leaves tomorrow for a business trip and our TV and dishwasher BOTH broke this morning.  This ALWAYS happens when he travels!!  Can't wait to have Mimi come up here to keep us some company. I tried to keep positive and I took the girls to the gym, after thinking we would never get there.  I got all the way there and realized I left my shoes at home.  Drove all the way back and then raced back to make it to Zumba.  We did it!  I won't bore you with the details of our Post Office and grocery store adventures following the gym, but they weren't pretty.   These winter days can be   l   o   n  g.

I must admit - I LOVE my two days a week while both the girls are at Preschool and PDO.  It's so nice to have the peace and quiet in my car with a Starbucks, my favorite music blasting, and I get SO many errands run and things done.  I always feel so accomplished on those days.

Last night we had a huge Taylor Swift Dance party in the playroom that turned into playing "Book Queen" when we were done dancing.  The girls took turns sitting on the throne and being the Book Queen.

I love our morning routines.  I've taught Sonoma that she can't come downstairs until 7:00 AM ( and she usually doesn't wake up until then or after, but it was a good thing to teach for those occasional days when she happens to wake up at 6 or 6:30).  I love watching the girls walk downstairs.  Sonoma always runs to me at the bottom of the stairs and gives me the biggest hug and snuggle.  And, when Cora comes downstairs in the morning, she walks down the back stairs singing the "Good Morning to You" song (same tune as "Happy Birthday").  She does the same thing every single morning and she is always carrying at least 3 or 4 things in her arms.  This morning it was coffee, a blanket and her Ariel doll.  During breakfast we usually call Daddy and he sings the "Good Morning to You" song to the girls on speaker phone since he has sometimes already left for work.

Have a great weekend y'all!!
