Friday Favorites!

 

TGIF! Today, I'm  linking up with bloggers, Narci, Andrea and Erika to share some of my favorite things.

 

 

 

1.)  Leopard. 

 

The girls and I just love anything leopard and one of us usually has it on.  You can't see Sonoma's shirt above but it is written in a leopard pattern and says "Meow or Never." 

You can't tell from this picture but I have on a leopard shirt myself :)  GAP Outlet had a HUGE blow-out sale and had long sleeve tees (including leopard ones) for $2.99.   If you don't already sign up for their emails, I suggest you do!

2.) Imaginary Play

 

I absolutely love watching my girls play pretend and make believe.  It's one of my favorite parts of my day - being able to sit in the office and do a little work while I can hear the girls upstairs in the playroom playing doctor, princesses, library, school, tea party, grocery store, etc.  I just love listening and observing!  The girls still fight A LOT, but they are finally at the age where they can play together for a couple of hours and they don't really need me (except to break up fights, braid dolls' hair and bring up snacks)

These pictures just crack me up.  Cora was standing at the top of the stairs doing some silly dance she has been doing a lot lately.  Haha:

 

3.)  Dixie

 

Oh how I love my dog!  Dixie is 12 years old, and definitely showing the signs of aging each and every day.  I'm glad the girls still love on her and help take care of her.  One of my favorite things is to catch Dixie basking in the sunlight.

4.)  Baby pictures

 

I let the girls play with my very first iPhone sometimes and they love scrolling through all the old baby pictures of Sonoma.  This one might be my favorite and I miss these days:

 

 

 

 

And then I got out of the shower yesterday and peeked downstairs to see what she was doing.  She had read my entire Elle magazine.  Such a big girl now.  (Side note**She also proceeded to tell me that OPI had new Cinderella nail polishes coming out next month in honor of the movie!)

 

What really cracks me up is that Sonoma has been laying out her outfits one, sometimes two days in advance.  Down to every last accessory.  Do you see the red wrist sweatband? Ha!

 

 

 

5.)  Café Escapes Café Vanilla

 

 

YUM!  These are so delicious and a special treat.  I have one of these in the afternoon just a couple times a week.  I usually drink my coffee with coconut milk creamer or almond milk, but these are just SO delicious and frothy and no need for any sort of cream or milk.  Thanks for introducing me to these, Mom!
