Easter 2015

Happy Easter!

We kicked off the weekend with the Heritage Prairie Farm Easter egg hunt that we've gone to the past few years.  My sweet friend, Jamie, took these pictures of the girls and us:

Cora got a HUGE chocolate egg that she immediately tore into

It was very cold and windy out, but at least the sun was shining!

Visiting our friend the Donkey

Baby goats!

Trying to get Jamie's son, Andrew, to pose with the girls.  He wasn't having it ;)

On Sunday morning the girls woke up and couldn't wait to put on their Easter dresses and go see if the Bunny had visited our house.

Sure enough, the Bunny left baskets for the girls filled with Easter goodies!

The past few years we have taken turns hosting Easter with our dear friends the Potereks. It's been a fun tradition and this was our year to host!  We invited the Potereks over to service at our Church campus.  We initially started going to the Poterek's Church campus in St. Charles, only to quickly realize there was a campus right by our neighborhood.  It was fun to have them attend our campus today.  After Church, we came back and had an egg hunt with the kiddos in our backyard, followed by brunch and lots of playing outside.

We had all the Easter toys and treats and outdoor toys, and all the kiddos wanted to do was dig in the dirt. The girls continued to dig for an hour after the Potereks left. It was so fun to watch!

The girls couldn't get enough of holding baby Blaire!

After Cora's nap, we went for our 2nd family run this weekend.  What a gorgeous, glorious Sunday!
