Life has been crazy and busy lately....but I wouldn't have it any other way!!
Yesterday we stopped by the Church at the girls' PDO to check out their ART SHOW!
The girls were very proud to show off their work. They also showed me and Daddy their new playground at PDO.
After the Art Show, we stopped by Trader Joe's and let Cora push her own cart for the first time. She LOVED it!
She is so little!
Lots of rainy, April days, but at least we have matching rain coats!
This is how Cora feels about brushing her teeth.
Last week during one of our big storms, we all ate an early dinner together and then sat on the porch and watched the rain.
On Friday, we were having one of the best days ever! Cora slept in until 9:00 am, and then we had some errands to run. As soon as we were driving, I had a warning light on my new minivan that the tire pressure was low. It's a good thing I pulled over in the Oakbrook mall parking lot, because my tire was immediately going flat! It was a real bummer we were "stranded" at Nordstrom - NOT! Ha! The girls and I were able to go inside, they tried on some new shoes and got balloons, and then my Roadside Assistance showed up. I am SO grateful I happened to bring the double stroller. I debated bringing it. Without it, the girls would have had to stand still in the parking lot for 45 minutes while he changed my tire!! Next, we had to go to Toyota and wait for a new tire to be put on. A HUGE bolt got stuck in my tire and completely damaged it. It was a bummer to have to buy a brand new tire for my brand new van, but it could have been a lot worse.
Watching the tire get changed. So grateful it was a beautiful day!
On Saturday we had a great family run together!
Followed by kite flying!
And s'mores in the fire pit!
Love these messy marshmallow faces!
Yay for blooming daffodils!
We celebrated with a quick stop at Dairy Queen with a blizzard for the big girl!
