May in Snapshots

As May comes to an end as we are officially kicking off SUMMER this weekend, here are some snapshots of what else we were up to in the month of May:

Cora and I checked out a new park 

The new PGC summer leos came in!

 Sonoma got her EARS PIERCED!!!  She has been talking about getting her ears pierced for almost 2 years now.  We decided it was time, and we went with Charlotte and her Mom, Sarah.  We had a lovely day in downtown Wheaton where the girls got their ears pierced at a nice jewelry store and then the four of us went out to lunch.  The girls were SO brave and there were no tears!  Such a huge milestone and special day for Mom and Daughter :)

A couple of weeks ago we had our first outdoor dinner on the patio

Let the summer birthday party fun begin!

Cora is obsessed with weddings and we had a wedding for her and Daddy last week.  She only wants to marry Daddy!

LAST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN!

It was very emotional saying goodbye to Mrs. Brown.  She was one of  the best teachers I have ever met in my entire life and we will miss her SO much.

Fingers crossed that Cora gets Mrs. Brown in another year!

Sonoma picked our lunch spot after school ended on Wednesday.  The Turf Room!

Followed by ice cream at Oberweis.  Yay for Blueberry Pie ice cream being back!
