Memorial Day Weekend!

HOORAY for SUMMER!!!!  Happy Memorial Day!

We had such a wonderful, relaxing weekend kicking off SUMMER!  We were outside in our swimsuits, eating all of our favorite, delicious summer foods, just spending time being together.

We started on Friday night with the Windy City Challenges awards at Sonoma's gym:

She won a medal for completing 10 challenges throughout the Winter/Spring

On Saturday morning we met a new Pediatrician and Sonoma had her 6 year well visit.  Our Pediatrician retired, so we needed to find a new one for our girls, and especially for the baby!

Sonoma received this pool for her birthday and we thought Saturday would be the perfect time to break it in!  The girls were in their swimsuits from Saturday morning until Monday evening.  They loved it!

My iris bloomed!

The girls were exhausted and in bed early Sunday night, and I was craving the blueberry pie ice cream at Oberweis.  Marcus was sweet and made a run over there for me!  The line was over a quarter mile long and backed up into the road for the drive thru, so he parked and went in for me :)

On Monday we spent the day with our friends the Palmers - swimming and eating.  It was perfect!

We are so excited that tomorrow is JUNE 1st!  =)
