Today is officially our first day of Summer break! Sonoma started with her first private swim lesson ( she's always done group lessons in the past ) and it went so well! She LOVED having one on one time with the swim instructor. After swimming I took the girls to a few different stores for our grocery run and it was a miserable experience. Both girls misbehaved and were punished afterwards and spent a lot of time in their rooms. Later this afternoon I gave them a chance to go out and play nicely together, and thankfully they obeyed. It's super hot out today, so I'm lucky that I can send the girls outside to play by themselves for a few hours while I stay inside in the AC and get caught up on my work. Win-win!

| Don't let the cuteness fool you. We had a rough morning! |
Sonoma: Sonoma was invited to a Junior Olympic Summer Training program for gymnastics at her gym. It's a big commitment of 9 hours a week ( up from the 3.5 hours a week we have been doing ), but she is super excited and was thrilled to get the invite! She will take one week off for a trip to Bloomington, and another week off to attend Church Camp. She also has a few weeks of private swimming lessons that just began.
Cora: It's hard to find camps for 3 year olds, but luckily I found two different camps at Red Oak Nature Center and one at Blackberry Farm for Cora to attend! She can't wait and keeps asking when they start!
Marcus: Chicago Ale Fest, Naperville Wine Fest, Indianapolis Wine Fest and Windy City Wine Fest
These are all of Marcus' events that he is in charge of, so as you can see- he will be very BUSY this summer! Not to mention, tomorrow is the PGA Senior Championship in Benton Harbor MI that his company puts on.
Lindy: See my last blog post -- I am in full on baby prep mode while I run my virtual skincare business from home! I am so grateful to have this incredible opportunity to work at home and build a huge business from my laptop or iPad while watching my girls play out back in our yard. I can't imagine what kind of other job I would be working if it weren't for R+F!
