Life Lately: Our New Normal

Life sure has changed for the Fischer family!   Life now revolves around this sweet, sleeping baby! We are adjusting to fitting in our daily activities around Blakesley's feedings and sleeps!  Thank goodness for Grandparents being able to come up and help since Daddy can't take any time off of work right now.

Since we all know what Blakesley and I have been up to, here is what's going on with the rest of the family:

Daddy has been busy preparing for his three events that take place in the next few weeks:
The Naperville Wine Festival, The Indianapolis Wine Festival and the Windy City Wine Festival.

Even though Marcus couldn't take off any work, he has still been as helpful as possible during the time he was at home before his 1st Summer event.  He has been up with me in the middle of the night, rocking Blakesley and changing her diapers.
Wine Festival starts TODAY and goes through TOMORROW!

Sonoma and Cora have been busy with modeling jobs the last two weeks.  Cora booked her first job and modeled for Radio Flyer.  The headquarters are right here in Chicago, which I did not know!  She was so excited for her first real job.  She was out the door early last week, by 6:00 AM and boy was she happy to finally get to do what big Sissy has been doing!  Daddy, Grandma and T all drove her downtown, so Daddy could then stay at his office, and Grandma and T brought her back home.  I am so grateful they were here to help out.  Stay tuned for Cora on boxes and packaging for Radio Flyer toys in stores!

I was bummed to miss Cora's first booking, but I cannot wait to see the finished product once it hits stores!!

Sonoma booked a job with Kmart and again, I was so grateful to have family here to help out and drive her to the shoot.  My Mom had just gotten into town and took her to the studio early on Wednesday morning.  She was thrilled when she found out she was shooting a hooded towel for the new Disney Princess, Princess Elena.  The girls LOVE Elena and had just watched the debut of her show on Disney last week.  Her picture should be on the Kmart website in the next couple of weeks.

Hair and makeup!

My Mom has been in town and it has definitely been a treat for us girls!  She has been so helpful - driving the girls around, taking them shoe shopping, to the movies, bringing up food, buying us food, and playing with the girls.

Blakesley ready to head out for her first shopping trip with Mimi!  She slept the entire time!

The girls saw "The Secret Life of Pets" with Mimi
Another whirlwind of a week that has flown by!  It's hard to believe that it hasn't even been 2 full weeks yet since our lives have changed so drastically.  Now I must switch my mind into "back to school" mode.  So. much. to. do.   AHH!!!
