Christmas in Indiana

Last weekend we celebrated Christmas with my side of the family.  Last year we were all at our house, and this year we all went to Mimi & Pa's house.  It was a very quick visit, but it was super relaxing and pleasant.  It was really nice to just stay inside, relaxing and enjoying the holiday together.  The drive is never fun, but we made it and were grateful for our special time together!  It was also Blakesley's 1st time in Bloomington!  On Sunday we did Christmas with Mimi, Pa, Krista, Jake and Scarlett.  On Monday we did Christmas with Great Grandpa.

We love our matching PJs from Grandma.  It's a fun tradition that every year she buys them for us!  Blakesley, on the other hand, wasn't impressed.

The girls love playing with the toys at Mimi & Pa's house.  This time was special because we got out all my old Christmas books and I loved readig my favorites to the girls!

Sonoma got the one thing she has been asking for:  Project MC2 spy bag!  It's actually really, really cool.  

Her big surprise gift was a balance beam!!  She was super surprised and happy to have one at home to practice on!

Look who surprisingly showed up at Mimi & Pa's!!!  PIZZA!!  The girls were SO excited.  They were very worried when they left home about what would happen to Pizza.  Sonoma even wrote Pizza a very lengthy note all about when we were leaving and where we were heading to.

Cora was happy to get a new Bitty Baby highchair, clothes, and a Wellie Wisher doll, among lots of other things!  :)

Thanks for a wonderful time at your house, Mimi & Pa!  The food, treats, memories, Christmas movies, and presents were all so great and fun!
