I took the girls to the Nutcracker for the very first time. I've been dreaming of the day I can take them both! My Mom used to take me when I was little and I definitely want this to be a Christmas tradition. We are so not ready to go to the downtown Chicago theatre, but maybe in a few years ;)

| The show was too late for Cora. She started getting sleepy and closing her eyes. She was a little scared of the King Mouse, but loved Clara and said she wanted to start up ballet again ASAP! (**Cora is signed up for ballet and jazz starting in January and can't wait!) |
The other show I took the girls to was The Broadway production of The Little Mermaid. It was our Christmas show this year for our season tickets, but my friend Jen gave me her two tickets so Marcus and I could take the big girls and go together as a family. It was a bummer though - Marcus did not get to go. Our babysitter for Blakesley got sick the morning of and couldn't come over. We were so sad Daddy couldn't go with us, but I had a great time with the big girls. We LOVED the show and it was by far the BEST show I have ever seen. The girls knew all the songs and scenes and the lighting, stage effects and characters were all incredible. I would go see it again if I could!
